Welcome

The Traditional Craft Project is based at the University of Ottawa.  Its goal is to track the health of traditional craft in Canada and its transmission from one generation to the next.  Data is used to determine which traditional craft skills are thriving, which are borderline and which have disappeared altogether.  The project mainly focuses on Canada but also touches on international traditional craft at risk.
